We are the founding organisation of the Dunedin Public Art Gallery. Today we support the gallery by raising money to buy art works to enrich the Gallery’s collections. We aim to foster interest in the visual arts in the community and promote art-related activities.

By joining the Dunedin Public Art Gallery Society Inc you will be joining a Society as long established as the gallery itself; the oldest art gallery in New Zealand Aotearoa. We have a busy calendar of events including talks, visits and gallery openings for members. You will have the pleasure of being connected to a community of art lovers. You will gain special insights into what is happening in our busy dynamic gallery. We welcome you to join today and become a member to support our Public Art Gallery, a significant institution in Dunedin’s rich cultural life.
